Alleima® 2RE10 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel, developed specifically for demanding applications in the nitric acid industry. The grade is gaining a good reputation for resisting corrosion at high temperatures, thereby extending the lifetime of process equipment.
Alleima® 2RE10 is especially well suited for the tubing used in condenser-coolers where re-boiling can accelerate corrosion rates. It is highly resistant to corrosion, with extremely low carbon and impurity levels and is available in outer diameters up to 80 mm (3.15 in).
