Alleima acquires Endox, a specialized manufacturer of medical components

Alleima has signed an agreement to acquire Endox Feinwerktechnik GmbH & Endox Polska SP.zo.o. (“Endox”), a Germany-based manufacturer specializing in medical components for endoscopic applications.

Kanthal wins Sweden’s most prestigious energy prize

Kanthal, a division within Alleima Group, has won the E-prize from EON, Aktuell Hållbarhet and Dagens Industri in the energy optimization category. The motivation from the jury: ”With a 90-year-old invention combined with a modern and innovative approach, this year’s winner is paving the way for a fossil-free industry through the electrification of high-temperature processes.”

The Vasa ship

The Vasa ship

A team of metallurgical experts from Alleima and engineers from the Vasa Museum, have together worked to replace approximately 5,000 steel bolts with new bolts made of super-duplex and hyper-duplex stainless steel.
