List of alloys

Our program of strip steel includes an extensive range of materials with very good properties with respect to, for example, strength, hardness and workability.

Size tolerances

The thickness and width tolerances are +/- tolerances to the nominal size. The normal tolerance classes for most of our strip products are T2 and B1. Tighter tolerances as well as other tolerance limits can be offered upon request.

Surfaces

Our strip steel can be delivered with several different surface finishes. To describe a surface appearance correctly one has to indicate both its appearance and its roughness.

Shape

To ensure the dimensional accuracy of products, our rolling mills are equipped with automatic gauge control and roll gap symmetry systems.

Edge conditions

Strip steel from Alleima can be delivered with a variety of edge finishes, to suit specific requirements.
