The Group Communications function at Alleima is a team of highly professional, service-minded and knowledgeable Communication Specialists, enabling the company’s internal and external brand and communication. We are looking for a Communications Manager TUBE
Your role:
We want you to build an internal communication strategy that enables the implementation of the Tube division's business strategy. This role is primarily focused on internal communication but also includes support to Group Communications in preparational activities for external communication as well as brand-related matters for the Tube division. Since the Tube division is a major carrier of the brand, you will be an important enabler to build the Alleima brand within the Tube division from the inside out. You are a leader and have personnel responsibility for two communication specialists.
With us, your work includes:
- Activate Tube's management team’s strategy execution by planning and preparing communication around strategy, results and decisions as well as support in change management. Based on business needs, drive purposeful leadership communication that enables employee engagement.
- In close collaboration with Group Communications, support and develop a plan for Tube's communication towards external stakeholders and support in developing questions and answers.
- Plan and implement activities in the annual communication wheel like webinars, newsletters, words from the president, etc. Provide communication skills in defined projects or initiatives.
- Actively participate in Alleima communication forums and content productions.
- The location of the position is Sandviken or Stockholm and you report to Elja Nordlöf, EVP & Head of Communications at Alleima.
- As we are a global organization with local connections, good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
Your Profile:
We are looking for you with at least 5 years of experience in strategic and operational communication in a multinational industrial company where you have developed and delivered high-quality communication across multiple channels.
You have many years of knowledge and experience of internal, change and leadership communication and its effects, both in strategic and tactical as well as in operational tasks.
You are very used to working and traveling in a global context where different time zones need to be accommodated and can provide work for hours outside of normal daytime hours.
You have a good understanding of how to utilize digital channels and social media for your communication and documented experience of successfully managing digital communication channels.
We see that you preferably have a university degree in communication or journalism or qualified through significant previous experience.
Personal qualities that are crucial for the role:
You are exceptionally good at understanding strategic contexts and at combining both long-term and short-term perspectives in daily work.
You have a good understanding of different cultures, have a networking approach and excellent ability to inspire, motivate people and contribute to projects for the best results.
Excellent in project communication; stakeholder analysis, setting a communication plan, identifying and formulating messages, creating content, following up.
Need to have a proactive and structured approach to your entire work situation and able to take control in complex situations. Have a good structure and order in your work so that you can be flexible to take on tasks that come ad hoc.
You are a team player with good listening skills and make people around you feel seen and respected.
